Bend the Knee Dragon Coat

The Bend the Knee Dragon Coat took 22 months to complete.  It's hand knitted and pin loom woven with Malabrigo Merino wool yarn.  Each stripe of the skirt and sleeves begins with a 4" pin loom square.  The colorful stripes are separated by black vents which push the color forward when standing still.

Right: detail shoulder cap.  The 'tail' extends over the shoulder. Each scale of the shoulder cap is a 2" pin loom square that is separately sewn in.
